TOKYO CITY SERIES

Spine TV’s City Series is back and this time we visited Tokyo! During the first two series, we delved into the weird and wonderful world of Berlin and New York‘s artists, philosophers and ping pong hustlers. This time, we tackled Tokyo’s social and cultural scenes in an immersive six part series.
In the first episode, Spine TV hung out backstage at Super Deluxe with hardcore pop duo Tadzio ahead of one of their shows. We caught them in a quiet moment eating cake and drinking black coffee and discussed, amongst other things: nosebleeds; their love of cute boys; and, techno music.
Episode two will capture the first English translation video interview with Tokyo streetwear heavyweight Shinsuke Takizawa, which will be available to watch on Spine TV from 25.07.11, so stay tuned for that!
